I've been doing a lot of research lately and with that comes a lot of spending and firsts. Without even knowing it I quickly realized when it comes to brands, I play favourites. Once I find a brand I like (for example MAC) I'm a very devoted customer.
Which is great except sometimes you can miss out on other equally awesome products from other companies. So recently I've started to change it up! The first brand is called Fresh and the product that I'm loving is: Lotus Youth Preserve Face CreamWith Super 7 Complex.
While shopping in Sephora I asked for help in choosing the right colour of foundation. After a few swatches the makeup artist suggested I change my moisturizer. In all seriousness she wasn't trying to boost sales.
I'd already noticed that my face was dehydrated from the extreme winter we've had. My previous moisturizer (which is gel based) is great but suited for summer weather.
I had spent quite a lot of money on other products so I was hesitant to add to that. My skin is sensitive and I didn't want to waste money on a product that I might be allergic to so she kindly suggested I take a sample. By the next morning my skin tone was even, my complexion brighter and my face felt like silk!
I'm a new woman! Plus it smells so... FRESH! Pun intended.
I went back that day and bought 0.5 oz but I should have bought the full size. I'm hooked!
This is as "wallet friendly" as it gets for 33.8 oz's of professional product. The Brilliance shampoo cleanses throughly but doesn't feel like it's stripping my hair. The Brilliance conditioner enhances shine and makes my hair easy to brush through. In fact I've noticed that my hair seems to be growing faster lately! * Nothing can increase the speed of hair growth but I do believe it's helped prevent breakage considerably!
After my shower I immediatly saturate my strands with AG Hair Cosmetics "Fast Food" Leave in Conditoner.
It smells like heaven, it's extremly nourishing and never makes my hair greasy or flat. *I avoid my roots when I apply it because they don't need deep conditioning. Whether I'm styling my hair straight or letting it go wild and curly I use this prouduct every time I wash my hair.
I'm also loving Physicians Formula Bronze BoosterGlow-Boosting Pressed Bronzer.
I'm very pale during the winter months so I apply this with a stippling brush from Real Techniques which helps me achieve a natural, even tan that isn't too harsh, too warm (orange). I've use it to lightly contour and give my face more structure and it seems like a formula that would be easy to build if you wanted a darker tan during the summer.
I wore this bronzer out last night and it stayed in place nicely. It also didn't change in color or consitency after a few glasses of wine and some dancing.
