Egyptian Magic Cream is an all natural balm to oil formula with nourishing and hydrating properties.
*This product does not contain Petroleum. Petroleum jelly creates a barrier on the skin, sealing in moisture, it can also prevent the skin from breathing and inhibiting its natural detoxification process.
This can lead to clogged pores and potential skin issues. Petroleum jelly does not provide any nourishing or beneficial nutrients to the skin.
It simply acts as a barrier, without offering any additional skincare benefits.
Here's how Egyptian Magic Cream can be used:
As a Moisturizer: Egyptian Magic can be used as a moisturizer before applying makeup. It contains natural ingredients like olive oil, beeswax, honey, and royal jelly, which deeply hydrate the skin and create a smooth canvas for makeup application.
As a Primer: Applying a thin layer of Egyptian Magic before foundation can act as a primer. It helps to fill in fine lines, minimize the appearance of pores, and create a smooth surface for the foundation, allowing it to glide on more easily and last longer. Just be sure not to apply too much!
In your foundation: Egyptian Magic can be mixed with foundation to create a tinted moisturizer or a sheer foundation. This helps to achieve a more natural and dewy finish while providing additional hydration to the skin. This is especially effective on dry skin types. I live in Northern Ontario, and the majority of clients who I makeup (during wedding season) have chronically dry skin, even in the summer months. You can have acne and still have dry skin on top of it. Acne-prone skin needs love too. That love should come in the form of hydration after cleansing.
As a Highlighter: Dabbing a small amount of Egyptian Magic on the high points of the face, such as the cheekbones, brow bone, middle of the mobile lid and cupid's bow, can create a subtle and natural-looking highlight. Its moisturizing properties give a healthy glow to the skin.
As a Lip balm: Egyptian Magic can be used as a lip balm to moisturize and nourish the lips. It can be applied alone for a natural look or as a base before applying lipstick or lip gloss.
Mixed into lipstick: Adding a small amount of Egyptian Magic to your favourite lipstick can create a beautiful tinted balm or add shine to a matte lip colour you find too drying. It helps to prevent cracking and also creates more product.
As a brow tamer: Egyptian Magic can be used to groom and tame unruly eyebrows. Apply a small amount using a spoolie to shape and set the brows in place.
For a body highlighter: Egyptian Magic can also be used on the body to create a subtle glow. Apply it on the collarbones, shoulders, or legs to give a luminous and radiant appearance.
*It's important to note that Egyptian Magic Cream is a multi-purpose product, and its usage as makeup may vary depending on personal preferences and skin type. It does not contain mineral oil and can be used on acne-prone skin but we always recommend a patch test when trying a product that is new to you. *
